Commercial Laundry & Linen Hire — Frequently Asked Questions

The questions we get asked most often, answered plainly. If yours is not here, call 023 8251 1991 and ask.

Questions

Pricing & contracts

Linen hire is priced per item, per rotation, based on your volumes and delivery frequency. Most clients find hire cheaper than owning once replacement, storage and laundering costs are counted. Contact us for a quote tailored to your business.

There is no formal minimum volume, and we work with single guest houses as well as multi-property operators. Terms are agreed in the quote rather than imposed by a standard contract.

Buying looks cheaper on day one and stops looking cheaper the first time you replace a set. Hire moves replacement, storage and laundering into one predictable per-item charge. If your volumes are steady, hire usually wins.

Questions

Service & turnaround

Turnaround is agreed when we set up your round and depends on the day you sit on. Most accounts run to a fixed weekly schedule, with extra runs arranged in advance for busy periods.

Fixed days, confirmed in writing when your account starts. Busier properties run two collections a week, and additional runs can often be fitted where the route allows.

Damaged items are pulled out and replaced from stock for hire clients, or flagged to you if the linen is your own. Losses are reviewed with you rather than quietly charged.

Questions

Coverage

We collect and deliver across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex, including Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester, the New Forest, Basingstoke, Bournemouth, Poole, Salisbury and Chichester.

Both. Single-property hosts sit on the same rounds as hotels and management companies, with the same packs and the same hand check.

Probably. Routes are set by round rather than radius, so send us your postcode and we will tell you which day you would fall on.

Questions

Quality & hygiene

Every item is individually inspected after laundering for stains, damage and pressing quality before it is packed for delivery, so substandard linen never reaches your guests.

Cycles are set by item type and soil level using commercial detergents and controlled temperatures. We are happy to talk through the wash process for your specific items, including clinical towelling.

Our unit is equipped for specialist stain removal, which is a large part of why hospitality clients move to us. Items that will not come clean are removed from circulation rather than returned.
